The Medical Certificate of Cause of Death (MCCD) will be sent directly from the medical examiner to the registrar, at this point you will be able to book an appointment to register the death.
Contact the Register Office where the death occurred. You’ll usually need basic personal details of the person who died.

The Tell Us Once service makes notifying government departments simpler. You’ll also need to let banks, pension providers, insurers, utilities, employers, clubs, and other organisations know.
