I cannot thank Howcrofts enough, especially Natalie, for the efficienty, kindness and care they have given to my family in dealing with my mother's funeral this week. They made it all so easy and stress free for us. Would highly recommend.

Every life is unique, and every funeral should be too.

When you lose someone, the world can feel overwhelming. At Howcroft’s, we’re here to guide you through – gently, respectfully, and without pressure. We’ve been a family-run funeral home for over a century, helping local families say goodbye with dignity, warmth, and time to grieve.

There’s no call centre. No conveyor belt. Just familiar faces who care deeply – and always have.

We’ll help you plan a service that reflects your loved one, without ever feeling rushed or pushed.

I would like to express my thanks and gratitude for the manner in which you have dealt with all the arrangements regarding mum’s funeral. At such a sad time it is comforting to have someone, such as yourself, organising and overseeing everything that needs to be taken care of in relation to the funeral. This took a great deal of pressure and stress away from my family and I at, what can be, such an overwhelming occasion. The funeral itself was an opportunity to celebrate mum’s long life and your help, guidance and friendly manner, played a great part in making the day memorable for us.
Thank you very much.
